The Beautiful Store Foundation announces 4 social innovators striving for climate crisis as the cohort 1st Asia Beautiful Fellow!
The Beautiful Store Foundation has supported social innovative leaders through the ‘Beautiful Fellow’ project for over 10 years and found that a strong-willed person for change is at the center of solving social problems.
To expand this impact, We launched the Asia Beautiful Fellowship program this year which supports the social innovative leaders responding to the climate crisis in Asian developing countries.
We hope to further expand the sharing, circulation, and eco-friendly value of The Beautiful Store Foundation by supporting social innovative leaders who strive to solve various environmental problems.
The 1st cohort of the Asia Beautiful Fellow includes:
Khor Sue Yee Zero Waste Malaysia
Country: Malaysia
Social Mission: Building a waste-free and sustainable future for Malaysia
Business outline: ‘Zero Waste Malaysia’ strives to make zero-waste living accessible in Malaysia by building educational content and resources and organizing outreach activities and campaigns to cultivate zero-waste living striving toward a circular economy for Malaysia.
Yuliandari Lastiana Aliet Green
Country: Indonesia
Social Mission: Improving the incomes, productivity, and climate resilience of farmers, especially women through value chain development of regenerative organic beyond sustainable agroforestry.
Business outline: ‘Aliet Green’ trades and manufactures organic coconut sugar by working with over 1,500 individual small-scale producers to help drive rural economies on a small scale for farmers and make a positive difference for social benefits.
Amorpol Huvanandana moreloop
Country: Thailand
Social Mission: Make circular economy a reality
Business outline: 'moreloop' curates high-quality surplus fabrics from factories, and matches them through a platform with potential customers to maximize their value and minimize waste in the fashion industry.
Tika Ram Poudel Waste Service
Country: Nepal
Social Mission: To implement climate action on health care waste management for the promotion of sustainable cities and healthy communities
Business outline: 'Waste Service' runs a common central treatment facility in the public-private partnership model in Pokhara and treats medical waste generated across the healthcare facilities in the city through an effective, sustainable, and environmental system.
